THE CHALLENGE
ETESA uses Oracle E-Business Suite as its core financial, accounting, and operations system.
In addition, ETESA has other mission-critical systems based on Oracle technology. Due to infrastructure renewal, it seeks a convergence system that meets all its hardware expectations and can consolidate its Oracle software platform.
THE SOLUTION
Solusoft proposed a high-availability architecture using the Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) engineering system, where it carried out the physical installation and logical deployment of the ODA, along with the migration of the virtual machines that were operational on the Oracle VM virtualization platform. Additionally, it implemented a backup and recovery strategy integrated with the backup solution managed by ETESA.
