Solusoft offered the cloud computing alternative on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the savings that Implosa could achieve in its Oracle Database licensing renewal through cutting-edge cloud technologies.

THE SOLUTION

Solusoft proposed the use of platform-as-a-service technologies from Amazon RDS for Oracle to deploy database instances and achieve savings in Oracle Database licensing support.

The virtual machines of the Oracle Forms and Reports application layer were reinstalled on instances in Amazon EC2, using the latest versions of the technology. Additionally, security and continuity practices were implemented.

Connectivity was established for the use of a point-to-point VPN between Implosa and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, to continue developing their most critical systems, Amazon Workspaces was enabled, utilizing Oracle Forms and Reports development technologies.
