ABOUT THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY AND FINANCE
The Ministry of Economy and Finance has the mission of formulating economic and social policy, managing and providing the resources for the implementation of government plans and programs, promoting the highest well-being of the population.
THE CHALLENGE
The Ministry of Economy and Finance uses Oracle Database platform for its most critical information systems. However, they had not regularized licensing nor implemented a scalable and highly available architecture. All database servers were dispersed and lacked consolidated management.
THE SOLUTION
Solusoft proposed the project called Technical Layer, which introduced an architecture based on Oracle’s Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA), providing a scalable, highly available solution with an alternate site.
In addition, services included installation, configuration, and management of the platform, along with proper licensing regularization.
