THE CHALLENGE
Before the migration, Benitomo faced challenges related to obsolete inventory management practices and limited scalability. Their on-premises systems hindered efficient stock control, real-time visibility, and responsiveness to market demands. They recognized the urgency of modernizing their infrastructure to remain competitive and address the changing needs of their customers.
THE SOLUTION
Solusoft proposed the use of platform-as-a-service technologies from Database Cloud Service to deploy database instances, and infrastructure-as-a-service from Compute Cloud Service for the application servers. The WMS system for Benitomo was then deployed in production, development, and archiving environments.
Connectivity was established for the use of a point-to-point VPN between Benitomo and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Additionally, best practices for cloud computing management, including encryption, backups, and replication, were implemented.
